Dr. Daksha Gurudas Amonkar is a distinguished academician and anatomist with over 26 years of undergraduate and 17 years of postgraduate teaching experience. She currently serves as the Deputy Dean Academics and Professor of Anatomy at Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune. A gold medalist in MS Anatomy from Mumbai University, Dr. Amonkar holds an impressive academic portfolio, including an MBBS, MS, DNB, Ph.D. in Anatomy, and an MBA in Human Resource Management. She is also a recognized Ph.D. supervisor and postgraduate guide, with a notable contribution to the academic mentorship of students. Dr. Amonkar’s academic journey spans premier institutions such as Seth G.S. Medical College and KAHER’s J.N. Medical College, where she held key positions including Director of Academic Affairs and Director I/C of Allied Health Sciences.
