Project ‘NOOR’ in partnership with Vedantaa Institute of Medical Sciences and NRHM, Health Department, Palghar had announced the Launch of “Child Rehabilitation Clinic” on 8th Jan 2020.
A prescription of hope for children & their families who have missed out in some of the twists & turns that make the journey of childhood beautiful.
Combining compassion & care, our Child Rehabilitation Clinic along with medical expertise & cutting edge technology provides services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, remedial educational aid & appliances as per individual needs. Our clinic will address disabilities like cerebral palsy, autism, ADHD, spinal cord defects, childhood strokes, muscular dystrophy & any other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
The CRC was inaugurated by the hand of Dr Kanchan Wanere, Civil surgeon, Palghar in the presence of Dr Balaji Hengne, Medical Superintendent, SDH Dahanu, Dr Shabnam Rangwala, Pediatric Therapist, Dr Abhijith Chavan , SDH Dahanu, RBSK team, Dr Amol Ghule, Assistant Professor, Department of General Medicine.
20-25 patients with various disabilities like cerebral palsy, autism started their new journey enthusiastically. All the students and faculty of Vedantaa participated actively in the event.
Tree Plantation was done at the end by hon’rable dignitaries as a mark of memory.
