Nurses week was celebrated at Vedantaa Institute of Medical Sciences from 10th May 2022 to 12th May 2022.

A health talk competition was conducted on 10th May 2022. Various topics were given to participants and they had to present the topic. It was judged by Dr Harshada Shah , professor & Head , Dept of Microbiology.

On 11th May various entertainment competitions like Rangoli, hair style making , chart making , art & craft competitions were conducted at OPD reception ,Vedantaa. They were judged by Dr Jyoti Gaikwad , Prof & Head , Dept of Anatomy ; Dr Vikas Kamat ,Assistant Professor ,Dept of Ophthalmology & Dr Rahul sontode ,Assistant Professor ,Dept of Surgery.

On the Nurses Day 12th May 2022, celebration started with the lightning of the lamp by the dignitaries Dr Valand , Professor & Head , Dept of Pathology ; Dr Padmakar Shinde , Professor & Head , Dept of Orthopedics , Dr Vikas Kamat , Dept of Ophthalmology & Dr Mukund Khandelwal , Administrative Officer , VIMS.

It was followed by a welcome song by our nurses. Various solo and group dances were performed. A skit on Biomedical waste was performed by our nursing participants.

The programme concluded with a sweet song by Dr Valand and vote of thanks by Miss ShilpA Gawande , Assistant Nursing Superintendent ,VIMS.
