Guest Visit at Vedantaa Institute of Medical Sciences, Dahanu by Mr Sanjay Deshmukh Sir, Secretary , Medical Education & Drugs Department, Govt Of Maharashtra, Maharashtra; Joined Government of Maharashtra in 1983; worked for 7 years in Tribal development Department , associated with Tribal children’s education in Ashram shalas, worked with Zilla Parishad , Ahmednagar and Akola; worked as Project Manager Jalswaraj, a worls bank project for rural drinking water supply and sanitation; was CEO Zilla Parishad Nagpur, Collector and District Magstrate, Yavatmal; Commissioner of Labour, GoM: Collector, Mumbai Suburban District.; Addl Municipal Commissioner MCGM.

Mr Ram Dhas, worked with Municipal Corporation for Greater Mumbai for 33 years , worked on different positions during this period, Major position was Chief accountant Finance for than 8 years; Also was Joint Municipal Commissioner , Mumbai.

Dr Smita Chavan, Associate Professor, Department of Community Medicine, HBT Medical College and Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital.

The guests were welcomed by Dr Vinayak Patil, Professor, Department of Biochemistry. There was a presentatation about Vedantaa Institute of Medical Sciences and the work so far to all the guests.

Then the Hon’ble guests took visits of OPD building, Surgery ward, OT, ICU, Lecture theatre, auditorium, Blood Bank, all the Para clinical departments, Pre clinical departments, laboratories, skilled labs, and the college.They were very happy with the facilities of college and hospital.
All our students were addressed by Hon’ble Sanjay Deshmukh sir and Dr Smita Chavan Mam with their encouraging words.

Finally Dr Vinayak Patil, Professor, Department of Biochemistry, concluded event with a motivation speech for all the students and vote of thanks.

The event was beautifully hosted by Dr Darshana Deshpande, Department of Dentistry.
